My Inspiration

15 year old Kelli Gallacher from Alexandria in Dunbartonshire has a positive attitude, and refuses to give in to Cystic Fibrosis and let it stop her doing the things she loves. Kelli started Highland dancing at three and has won hundreds of trophies and medals. She has even developed her own special brand of dancing called techno highland.

As an ambassador for the CF Trust, Kelli raises awareness of CF through speaking at events and to the media, and has raised money for research by taking part in a variety of activities including sponsored walks and an abseil. In 2007 Kelli won Bighearted Scotland's Child of the Year award for her fundraising. Her hard work, dedication and effort are inspirational to everyone.

Kelli Gallacher

I first met Kelli at some Blackpool shows I was helping out on back in 2007 when Kelli was only 13 years old. I then attended 2 charity events Kelli put on in Glasgow to raise money for CF.

On the outside you cannot tell Kelli has CF but after getting to know her and her wonderful family it just made me want to do something to help the charity. Kelli, now 15 is a great dancer with her own brand of dance known as 'Techno Highland'.

I'm both proud and privileged to know Kelli and grateful and also get to work with her again.
